ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that former Colts running back Joseph Addai was cut by the Patriots because of a failed physical designation.
It should have been deemed more like a lack of heart designation.
Reports are circulating out of New England that Addai was struggling during the conditioning test and simply quit.
Addai was subsequently released by the Patriots.
When asked by reporters what happened, coach Belichick simply replied “it didn’t work out.”
Addai probably will end up on a roster by the start of the regular season, but being known as quitter definitely won’t help his reputation.
