Some athletes have all the talent in the world, yet the light never goes on when it comes to decision-making.
Add super talented but mistake prone Michael Dyer to that list.
BlackSportsOnline is reporting that the oft trouble yet talented running back has been dismissed from Arkansas State for “violation of team rules.”
Dyer’s former offensive coordinator at Auburn and new head coach released a statement Sunday night.
“I am truly disappointed that it didn’t work out here at ASU for Mike,” said Malzahn in the statement. “I wish Mike nothing but the best in the future.”
Dyer had transferred to Arkansas State after back to back 1000 yard seasons at Auburn.
After being named All SEC last season, Dyer was suspended for the Tigers’ Chick-fil-A appearance and subsequently transferred.
Dyer was contemplating transferring again after having his appeal to be immediately eligible at Arkansas State turned rejected.
The young running back will have to regroup again and stay in shape to follow his NFL dreams.
