NFL.com is reporting that the New England Patriots have reached agreement on a one year deal with tight end Visanthe Shiancoe.
Terms of the deal are for $1.2 million.
Shiancoe has been negotiating with the Eagles and Patriots for the last week.
I’m not particularly sure why the 0 year veteran would sign with a team already stacked at tight end with Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.
If any team can run a 3 tight end system its the Pats, but i’m still uncertain what role Shiancoe will play besides a change of pace player.
