Another top Div 1 player who was set to play an important role on a national stage has made the jump to a lower level program to finish out his career.
ESPN.com via Joe Schad is reporting that former Florida State cornerback Greg Reid has enrolled at Division II Valdosta State.
Reid was formally dismissed from FSU Wednesday morning for a violation of team rules.
He was a three-year starter at corner and an excellent return man for the Noles. Reid fell victim to several arrest, including the most recent one in early July where he was booked for driving with a suspended license and marijuana possession.
If he stays focus and can adjust to lower level play, Reid should have no problem dominating and being a strong factor for nationally ranked Valdosta.
