NFL.com via Rex Ryan is reporting that all world cornerback Darrelle Revis will miss the remainder of the season with a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament.

Ryan met with reporters Monday and confirmed what most New Yorkers had feared.

“Obviously that’s a significant injury and it’s something that we’re going to have to overcome as a football team, we understand that,” Ryan said. “He’s such a great player and a great teammate — we’re going to lose that presence. That’s the horrible thing that came out of the game.”

The Jets will now rely on veteran Antonio Cromartie to cover the teams best receiver, and third year pro Kyle Wilson must step up and show why he was a first round pick.
