Social media can make a bad day even worse for certain people.
While Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson was being harassed into an 11-26 for 200 yards and 2 interception performance, his instate counterparts in East Lansing took to twitter to voice their Spartan opinions.
MLive provided the tweets that were eventually taken down.
“Is this guy really a QB I’ll say my mans (walk-on Tommy Vento) is a better QB lol,” linebacker Denicos Allen tweeted. “S/O to my boy vento by the way.”
“DENARD IS SOOOO BAD!” safety Kyle Artinian tweeted. “And it makes me feel so good.”
After Denard’s 71-yard completion to Jeremy Gallon a player tweeted.
“Even a blind squirrel can get a nut ever once in a while…,” running back Nick Hill tweeted after the play.
Things are always funny when you are not the one going through it.
Tommy Vento wouldn’t have completed a pass against that Bama defense.
Le’Veon Bell would never rush for 200 plus yards against that Bama defense.
Karma has a way of working these things out though.
Michigan State travels to Ann Arbor October 20.
I have a feeling Denard Robinson might play well in that matchup.
