The economy is at a standstill right now, and our government is arguing about a fiscal cliff.

All those concerns can be relieved, and you can get a free car if the Redskins can keep the Giants from scoring.

Larry Brown Sports has the details regarding this amazing offer.

Lindsay Chevrolet of Woodbridge, Va. is reportedly running a promotion that will see the dealership give away eight free vehicles, if the Skins shut out the Giants.

“It’s the first time that we’re doing it,” Lindsay Chevy’s general sales manager Coslyn Ceballos told D.C. Sports Bog’s Dan Steinberg on Thursday. “Our general manager is a Redskins fan, and the majority of our sales team are Redskins fans. We were saying, you know, what are the chances of the Redskins making something like that happen? People play the lottery all the time. The chances of hitting the lottery are, what, 1 in 175 million? But it’s fun, and it can happen, and if it did, why not make it interesting?”

There is catch of course.

The names of 8 individuals who purchase a Chevy between now and Monday will be entered into a drawing, and if Washington holds New York scoreless, those eight buyers will be reimbursed for their purchase.

So if you are the gambling type and like your odds, go down to Lindsay Chevrolet, purchase a vehicle, and pray the Skins keep the Giants from even getting a safety, and then if all that happens, pray your name gets pulled out a hat.

Sounds easy right.
