Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie Says Broncos Are A Real Team, Not A Dream Team

Some guys should just leave well enough alone, and not speak if they have nothing good to say.  The Denver Broncos signed former Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to a one year deal on Wednesday.

Rodgers-Cromartie is obviously elated to be with a winning organization after suffering through last years 4-12 debacle with the Eagles.

While talking to USA Today Sports about his new organization, Rodgers-Cromartie said that the Denver Broncos “were a real team, and not a dream team like the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles.”

“When you have a lot of talented guys like that, a lot of things are expected from you,” Rodgers-Cromartie said Thursday at his introductory press conference in Denver. “The main thing is just to go out and play football and play consistent. Don’t get caught up in the hype of names and people on the roster. Really grind it out.”

“The organization (and) the people that are here already believe in something, and that’s winning,” Rodgers-Cromartie said. “Just walking around this building since the day I’ve been here, talking with everybody you can see the main thing is about winning games, and coming in and just working.”

“The main thing is just about the consistency and just being hungry again to go out there and play,” Rodgers-Cromartie said. “The main thing is just really come in here, buy into the program, get with the strength coaches and just go from here.”

Rodgers-Cromartie must have forgotten that apart of them being labeled a dream was him being traded to the Eagles along with several other supposed big name additions.
