The Charlotte Bobcats are tired of being bottom feeders, and our looking to make a huge splash in this years draft to start their ascension.

Sports Illustrated is reporting that the Bobcats are interested in trading the 4th pick in the draft to the Heat for Chris Bosh.

Miami Heat big man Chris Bosh could be a “prime candidate,” according to the report, as there are rumors that the Heat will look to trade Bosh and the Bobcats could take on his near-maximum contract.

“As much as Charlotte would love to build through the draft, team officials understand they have to start winning and need a player to be the face of the franchise. Bosh could serve that purpose,” Washburn writes.

Bosh will make about $79 million over the next four seasons as part of his six-year, $109.8-million deal. The Heat could target a center in Alex Len, or Dwyane Wade’s replacement in Victor Oladipo
