Free agent forward Jason Collins may have a job this season after all.
Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Nets are targeting Collins to make a return to the franchise. Collins will now be possibly returning to the team as the NBA’s first openly gay athlete.

Collins has a close relationships with new Nets coach Jason Kidd and top assistant Lawrence Frank. They were together for seven seasons with the Nets when Frank was a coach, Kidd was the point guard and Collins was a rugged forward.
Collins will be brought in to provide a physical, defensive presence behind newly acquired Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.Powered by Sidelines
