The Philadelphia Eagles wrapped up their final minicamp together today, and won’t be together again until the start of training camp.
Many questions will accompany the group when they return to the Nova Care Complex, the biggest one being who will start at quarterback.
The man many expect to be the starter, Michael Vick, told the Philadelphia Daily News that he really doesn’t like splitting reps with Nick Foles.
“It’s tough,” Vick said, when asked about splitting the reps Thursday. “I have to contiunue to be a professional and put my feelings and emotions to the side, and just continue to compete. But it’s hard. I would be lying if I said it wasn’t, but that’s just what I have to deal with, and I’m going to keep dealing with it until I see otherwise.”
Vick was asked if he voiced his displeasure to Chip Kelly at all?
“We haven’t talked about it yet,” Vick said. “Coach knows exactly what he’s doing. We don’t question him, he don’t question us. We just listen.
In my opinion it’s Vick’s job to lose, and at this point he simply needs to focus on the playbook and his turnover problem.
