Victor Cruz and the Giants may be making finally some headway in their quest to agree to some sort of long term extension.
Sports Illustrated via ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that Cruz and the Giants look like they will finally come to some sort of agreement before the start of training camp.
“Everybody I’ve spoken to expects that deal to absolutely get done, to a 100 percent degree of certainty, that Victor Cruz will have a new contract by the time the Giants open training camp,” Mortensen said on NFL Live.
Cruz is currently under contract this year for $2.879 million after signing his restricted free agent tender last month. The Giants are scheduled to open training camp July 26Powered by Sidelines
