Carlos Dunlap has quietly become a force for the Bengals after entering the NFL on bad terms coming out of Florida.
Today the Bengals rewarded his stellar play with a six-year $40 million extension according to Pro Football Talk. The Bengals had failed to get defensive end Michael Johnson signed to a long term deal, but Dunlap jumped at a new deal.
Dunlap will earn $18.7 million between now and the 2014 training camp, and a total of $20 million total over the next two seasons.
Dunlap has played in 26 games since being drafted in 2010, but has 20 sacks in that time.Powered by Sidelines
