This was bound to happen, and now hopefully it will pull the Eagles together.
Jeff McLane is reporting that Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper and Cary Williams got into a fight at practice this morning.
No word on what started the fight, but we can be certain that the trolls will blame it on Cooper’s use of the N word last month.
Here are some additional details and the video.
Williams was covering the receiver during one-on-one drills. After the play, they stood toe-to-toe jawing at one another. It turned physical and some slaps were thrown at each others’ helmets. Brandon Boykin jumped in to help separate the two. As Cooper walked away, Williams ripped off his helmet, tossed it to the ground and began pursuing him, but was blocked by Michael Vick.
