Midnight Madness has always been a fall ritual for decades around colleges campuses across america. Florida State’s midnight madness was Friday night, and the event was even more hype than usual because of the Seminole football teams hot start.
The architect of the Noles run towards an undefeated season just also happened to be in attendance. Heisman Trophy candidate Jameis Winston was asked to be a judge in the slam dunk competition, and also took part in the festivities.
Florida State guard Aaron Thomas decided to incorporate Winston into his dunk.
Offensive lineman Cameron Erving snapped a football to Winston who then fired a perfect strike from mid-court to Thomas, who caught it for a reverse slam.
Thomas of course got a 10 from Winston.
