76ers guard Evan Turner can see the writing on the wall, and I think he senses that his future won’t in Philadelphia.

The franchise that is full rebuild mode, decided to pass on offering Turner his fourth year extension, and now their are questions about Turner’s future with the franchise.

According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the 76ers and Turner are not on the same page, and the team may soon part ways with the guard out of Ohio State.

“There was nothing whatsoever,” Turner said Friday morning of contract negotiations with the Sixers. “Nothing was done. That’s it.

“There was nothing to talk about. There was no discussion.”

With hiring of Sam Hinkie as GM, Turner is aware that it’s Hinkie’s team, and he may not be included in future plans.

“I didn’t expect anything, because Hinkie is not my GM,” Turner said. “I didn’t come up with Hinkie or anything. He has his own plan for stuff, and that’s pretty much it.”

It’s is unlikely that Turner will remain a Sixer past this season, and he could be traded before the season is over.

“I really don’t know, to tell you the truth,” Turner said. “Like I mean, you just traded Jrue. Jrue is like a walking legend. You know what I’m saying? Even Wilt Chamberlain got traded, right?”
