I can’t stop laughing at this quote.
After getting man-handled and embarrassed by the Detroit Lions on national TV, Green Bay defensive end Mike Daniels wants his teammates to toughen up.
Daniels who was on the field for the 561 yards the Packers gave up to the Lions, told the Green Bay Press-Gazette that they “need to punch people in their throats.”
“We need to choke people, punch them in their throat,” Daniels told the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Daniel’s referenced Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy, who was flagged for a hit on a defenseless receiver, as the example toughness.
“I mean, that guy got a helmet-to-helmet on us, you know what, but he was trying to send a message,” Daniels said. “Every now and then, you’ve got to do that. I’m not condoning illegal hits, but we’ve got to punch somebody in their throat for once.”
Daniel’s needs to look in the mirror on this one. That ridiculous statement is one I’d expect from a Lions player.Powered by Sidelines
