Pete Carroll is an extremely confident guy, so any talk of the Seahawks repeating coming from Carroll shouldn’t be a shocked.

A lot of the conversation after the Seahawks throttled the Broncos centered on the young Seahawks and the potential for a dynasty just festering.

While addressing the media the day after the Super Bowl, Carroll said that his guys would be shocked if they didn’t repeat as Super Bowl champions.

“The first meeting we’ll have will be [Tuesday],” coach Pete Carroll said at his Monday morning news conference. “Our guys will be surprised if we didn’t [repeat as Super Bowlchampions]. We have an eye on what’s coming. We won’t dwell on what’s happened. We’ll have a celebration on Wednesday and we’ll enjoy the heck out of it. But that doesn’t mean we can’t set the sights of where we can go. We are in a very fortunate situation.”

the Seahawks will have to decide what to do about free agents like receiver Golden Tate, pass rushing specialist Michael Bennett and receiver Doug Baldwin.

Russell Wilson will only cost the club $662,000 next season and $800,000 in 2015.  The Seahawks most pressing issues will be finding money to extend Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman.
