Danny Granger has taken his physical as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, and all reports suggest that the next step will be about seeing how Granger can move on to greener pastures.
Dei Lynam of Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia is reporting that Sixers GM Sam Hinkie and Granger will sit down at some point in the next few days to discuss the parameters of his buyout.
“Sam [Hinkie] has met with him,” Brown explained. “He has done his physical. He will come back and I will sit down with him for the first time now that the physicals have been had and talk with him.”
There is very much a feeling that Granger would like a buyout from the Sixers and one league source says the Sixers would be willing to negotiate that.
Whether Granger plays in Philadelphia or hooks on with a contending team as many have speculated remains to be seen, but Thaddeus Young knows the former All-Star still has skills.
The Buyout definitely makes sense.
Granger is not apart of the Sixers future, and if he was still the same player as before, he probably wouldn’t have been traded.Powered by Sidelines
