Travis Leder is reporting that Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus was reportedly arrested late Monday night. Dareus was released early Tuesday morning.

WIVB 4 in Alabama is reporting that Dareus was arrested on Synthetic weed charges.
The Cleburne County Jail in Alabama tells News 4 that Buffalo Bills DL Marcell Dareus was arrested Monday night on charges of drug possession.
Dareus was taken into custody in Cleburne County by a state trooper for being in possession of synthetic cannabis, or “spice,” according to a report from WVUA. He is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released in 45 minutes after posting $3,000 bail.
Dareus attended high school in Birmingham, and played college football for the University of Alabama. He signed a four-year deal with the Bills in 2011.
Dareus was selected with the 3rd overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Bills. He made the Pro Bowl for the first time last season.Powered by Sidelines
