This would be an epic move, but bigger moves and blunders have been made.

During an NBA Draft feature on Dante Exum, Chad Ford is reporting that the Philadelphia 76ers could trade rookie of the year Michael Carter-Williams if they decide to use the No. 3 pick on the Australian point guard.

The Philadelphia 76ers are Exum fans as well, and if Wiggins is off the board, Exum will be in the mix. They think Exum and Carter-Williams could play together in the backcourt, although it would not be a very good shooting tandem. I think the more obvious fit comes if they trade Carter-Williams, an idea I’m told they have bounced around.

That is one crazy idea.

Carter-Williams averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 assists and 6.2 rebounds last season on his way to running away with the NBA Rookie of The Year award.

Exum, 6-foot-6, 196 pounds, is considered a much better prospect than Carter-Williams was, who was drafted 11th overall in the 2013 Draft.  Both players struggle to shoot the ball, but Exum is much better at this point in his career at attacking the rim.

I can see playing both together, but to just jettison Carter-Williams away makes absolutely no sense.
