Asante Samuels Says His Skills Are Not Declining

Atlanta Falcons cornerback Asante Samuels is feeling a bit reborn playing in a new city.

One thing that hasn’t changed is his ability to be brash and cocky with his mouth and his play.

Samuels is out to prove to his teammates new and old that his game is not in a steep decline, and has actually improved.

The Eagles accepted a 7th round pick from the Falcons in exchange for Samuels, and he is dead set on proving he is worth more than that.

Samuels recently took offense to comments Eagles coach Andy Reid made regarding his play being “In Steep Decline.”

When asked about it recently Samuels took the high road and answered with a ‘No Comment.” “We’ll see who’s in steep decline.”

The Falcons and Eagles matchup in Oct and Samuels will definitely want to prove that he’s still the same cocky ball hawk he’s always been.
