Manu Ginobili isn’t the same players he was in his prime, but that didn’t stop the 76ers from offering the Spurs star a ton of money to sign for two-years.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski — Ginobili was fielding a $3 million offer from the Spurs initially, but things got interesting after Brett Brown and company offered a deal worth almost $16 million in the first season.
The Spurs eventually had to up their offer to Manu — thus resulting in the one-year, $14 million deal he signed today.
