Details on Peyton Manning Going To John Madden For Advice on NFL Analyst Job

Peyton Manning may have retired from the NFL as a player — but he’s reportedly still mulling his options regarding the next step in his professional career — and the future Hall of Famer reportedly went to one of football’s biggest names for help in making his decision.

According to Jason McIntyre of The Big Lead, Manning asked former Raiders coach John Madden for advice on whether he should accept a position with CBS to be an NFL analyst alongside Jim Nantz.

According to McIntyre — Madden told Manning to pursue a front-office job or a piece of ownership.

Manning retired after winning the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos — and he has a boatload of options to sift through.
