Dwyane Wade on Trump Trying To Use His Cousin’s Death For Politics

While Dwyane Wade appreciates tweets about his murdered cousin “starting a conversation,” he’s not feeling the motive behind Donald Trump’s usage.

The U.S. presidential candidate created a stir last week when he used the death of Nykea Aldridge to promote his campaign on Twitter. Wade said Thursday that the tweet made him feel “conflicted,” and he’d prefer his family tragedy wasn’t used for political gain.

“I was grateful that it started a conversation but on the other hand, it just left a bad taste in my mouth because of what my family is dealing with and what our city of Chicago is dealing with and it looks like it’s being used as political gain,” Wade told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.< /blockquote>
