Eagles’ LT Jason Peters Arrested For Drag Racing, Fleeing Police

Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters seems to be healthy now, because his Achilles is definitely healthy enough to drive his car at enormous speeds.

USA Today is reporting that Peters was arrested in Monroe, Louisiana, and charged with drag racing and fleeing police early Wednesday morning.

According to the arrest report, a Monroe County Deputy observed a white Camaro and blue sedan at the red light around 4:45 a.m.

When the traffic light turned green, the Camaro and sedan reportedly took off at a high rate of speed and appeared to be racing.

The deputy turned on his emergency lights,  and attempted to pull over the vehicles. The blue sedan immediately pulled over to the shoulder of the road, but Peters white Camaro took off, and accelerated to speeds of over 100 miles per hour.
