Jets Put Darrelle Revis Trade Talks ‘On Hold’ Until MRI Reviewed

If you thought the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were growing impatient with the Jets in regards to a Darrelle Revis deal, wait until they hear the newest bit of news.

ESPN New York via Sal Paolantonio is reporting that the Jets have put trade talks involving Darrelle Revis on hold for the time being.

TheJetshave put talks to trade Darrelle Revis to the Bucs “on hold” while the cornerback has his knee examined in New York, reports ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio. Once the medical info comes back, the Jets’ brass will then decide the “right thing to do.”

Revis was  examined at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York by Dr. Russell Warren. He reportedly received positive  news in regards to his knee.

Dr. Warren reportedly cleared Revis to begin running without restrictions. After completing his early morning appointment, Revis was scheduled to report to the Jets’ facility for the start of the offseason program.

All reports now suggest that the team’s doctors will further review his MRI results and present Revis with a detailed rehab schedule.

He was also expected to meet with the guy who is trying to trade him, John Idzik, for the first time.
