ESPN is reporting that Franklin will miss the rest of the regular season.
Pinkel said he didn’t know the degree of Franklin’s separation, but he would know more Sunday. A source told ESPN’s Brett McMurphy that Franklin suffered a second-degree separation and is out the remainder of the regular season.
The earliest Franklin could return would be for a bowl game, the source said. CBS earlier reported the extent of Franklin’s injury.
