N.O.R.E. on Time Michael Jordan Said F*ck Rap Music

I never expected Michael Jordan to be a hip-hop head, but this statement could viewed as alarming if true?

Queens native and hip-hop legend, N.O.R.E. tells the story of the time NBA Hall of Famer and hoops legend, Michael Jordan made some disparaging remarks about rap music.

While a guest on the Rap Radar podcast, N.O.R.E. broke down the time that Jordan dissed Method Man & Redman — while being overheard saying “F*ck rap” music by the rapper and others. Jordan also reportedly asked to be taken out of the rapper’s music video for “Oh No” — because “Jordan is a hater of hip hop.”

I seen him shut Redman down at a Def Jam Christmas party. We were all sitting there waiting to speak to Michael Jordan. N—-s said, “Yo, Redman and Method Man is here.” (M.J.) said, “Fuck rap.” I seen the n—- say that … Quote me. I believe it was Redman and Method Man, and I’m to the side, so I can directly hear his voice. He was like, “Fuck rap.” That shit hurt me. Def Jam Christmas party, Mariah Carey hosting and shit like that. He only spoke to Hov, but he spoke to Hov. That’s without a doubt.

N.O.R.E. also discussed his new mixtape, Drunk Uncle. Fresh off a flight , hating independence and much more.
