We are waiting for an official announcement from Major League Baseball on who will be suspended in the biggest mass suspension in sports history.
Deadspin is reporting that the names of all the players suspended for the Biogenesis scandal have been revealed, and suspension are forth coming anytime Monday.
The list of players who didn’t expect to be suspended, as reported by Yahoo’s Jeff Passan, are the Mets’ Jordany Valdespin, the Phillies’ Antonio Bastardo, and the Astros’ Sergio Escalona.
Nelson Cruz, Everth Cabrera, and Jhonny Peralta have all indicated that they will be accepting 50-game suspensions, the same as a failed test under the Joint Drug Agreement.
Jesus Montero, Francisco Cervelli, and minor leaguers Cesar Puello, Fautino De Los Santos, Fernando Martinez, and Jordan Norberto will also serve suspensions.
