Ohio State Suspends Two Starters

The Urban Meyer era is officially underway in Columbus.

Meyer who saw numerous players arrested while the head coach at The University of Florida, will deal with his first arrest as the coach of Ohio State.

According to espn.com, senior tight end Jake Stoneburner, and junior offensive tackle Jake Mewhort have been suspended after being arrested over the weekend on charges of obstructing official business.

The two starters were arrested around 2:30 a.m. Saturday by police in Shawnee Hills, northwest of Columbus.

Both players are projected starters and vital to the upcoming 2012-13 season.

It will be interesting to see how long these suspensions last.

I expect to see both players when camp opens up late next month.

Get em together Urban.
