Quade Green has signed national letter of intent

Hopefully those in the know don’t ruin it for this great kid, but either John Calipari, or Jim Boeheim is sitting at home tonight extremely happy.

According to Adam Zagoria & Zags Blog, Green has signed his national letter of intent with either Kentucky or Syracuse.

The five-star recruit will not be reveal his choice at Saturday night’s midnight madness event at Neumann-Goretti in South Philly.

Zagoria says the school he signed with already knows his intent.

The 6-foot-1 Green out of Neumann-Goretti will announce on Saturday night at his school for either Syracuse or Kentucky. Duke, Temple and Villanova, which were on his final list of five, are no longer in the mix, as Ben Roberts reported.
The early signing period ran Nov. 9-16, but Green will count as part of the early signing period since he has already signed.

Malik Monk, De’Aaron Fox and Isaiah Briscoe are all likely to leave after this season, so Green will get the ball for whatever school he chooses.

The Orange have been around since the beginning — going back to Green’s sophomore year — UK is UK — and were going to make the late push regardless.

Seeing the Wildcats dismantle Michigan State had to be enticing.
