Rams Cut Player on ‘Hard Knocks’ For Bringing Girl into Dorm Room (Video)

Deon Long is lucky he’s not black-balled from the NFL for being an absolute idiot.

For as long as football training camps have been around — the golden rule around any team is following the curfew and most importantly — “NO GIRLS” in camp.

The Rams had released the wide receiver on July 31, and thanks to the Hard Knocks debut on HBO Tuesday night — we know it’s because Long ignored Jeff Fisher’s rule on females in the dorm.

“What part did you not understand?” Fisher said to Long after calling the player into his office to inform him of his release, via Pro Football Talk. “Sorry, but this is our world, man. We have rules and we have to abide by them. I thought I made myself really clear.”

Long — who’s now here in Philly with the Eagles — was caught bringing a girl to his dorm room at UC Irvine, the site of the Rams’ training camp in Southern California, which was a violation of team rules — and it was all caught on camera.
