Report: Kevin Durant’s free-agency decision ’90 percent made’

There’s no way that Kevin Durant has spent years looking forward to free agency — only to make a decision in the first hour.

According to The Undefeated’s Marc Spears — several friends and business associates close to Durant expect him to stay with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Durant’s decision “is 90 percent made,” and “it would take an amazing sales pitch to change it.”

Another person close to Durant added:

“It’s going to take some sweet-talking to get him to pass up all the money he can get by staying in OKC.”

The Thunder possess Durant’s Bird Rights — meaning they’re the only team that can offer him a five-year contract, as opposed to the four-year term other teams are limited to.

Durant met with the Thunder on Thursday, and is in the Hamptons, New York to meet with the Warriors on Friday — as well as the San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, and Miami Heat.
