Report: Nerlens Noel ‘Very Open’ To Being Traded From #76ers

This isn’t good — but possibly seeing the writing on the wall — Nerlens Noel is going to make his own move.
According to a report from CSNNE’s A. Sherrod Blakely — Noel is interested in moving on — and his hometown Celtics have interest.

Noel has not asked for a trade, but multiple league sources told that he is “very open” to being traded if the Sixers decide to make that decision.

Another league source contacted by on Thursday morning indicated that the Celtics still have a high level of interest in Noel but no deal is imminent.

Philadelphia has a logjam of big men — including Joel Embiid Jahlil Okafor and Dario Saric — with Ben Simmons likely to eat up front court minutes as well.

Noel averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game last season.
