Could Ray Rice’s banishment from the NFL finally be coming to an end?
According to Adam Schefter, sources around the league believe Rice could get his shot at redemption at some point this season.
A growing sense that Ray Rice, who last played a game Dec. 29, 2013, might get chance to play in NFL again this season, per league sources.

Rice hasn’t played since he was cut by the Ravens after video surfaced of the running back punching his then-fiance in a casino elevator on Sept. 2014.
Schefter made the comments on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown”;
“[Rice] has been pushing for this. He’s been staying in shape and I think he has the league’s backing.”
Schefter also indicated that Rice could get a second chance in the leagues front office as well, if that’s something he’d be interested in.
Rice has been doing well, as he’s been lecturing and guess speaking, while he and his wife Janay added to the family as well.
