Under Armour and MSG Team Up For College Hoops Partnership


Starting next season, the Mecca of Basketball will be home to college hoops spotlight games.

Joining college basketball early-season showcases such as the NIT Season Tip-Off, the Maui Invitational, the ACC-Big Ten Challenge — Under Armour has created the Under Armour “Reunion” that will feature intriguing doubleheaders at Madison Square Garden each December.

Here’s the inaugural “Reunion” slate to be played Monday, Dec. 12:

Seton Hall vs. South Carolina
Auburn vs. Boston College

Nick Carparelli, the senior director of college sports at Under Armour, said he’s excited for the partnership:

Coming together with Madison Square Garden for the first time as an official partner of college basketball gives us such pride as we continue to elevate our brand presence in the sport. We’re thrilled to be part of delivering all of the upcoming collegiate basketball action at The Garden, and look forward to building a long-standing showcase platform with the “Reunion” for the players, teams and fans alike.

The spotlight games will feature programs that sport the company’s uniformss — with “Fight Like Family” being the official slogan of the doubleheader. Along with a slogan, Under Armour has unveiled a logo for the Reunion:
