Dwyane Wade joined Carmelo Anthony and others — in vowing to find ways to help end racial violence.
He’s continuing to be vocal about social change — this time dropping an IG post or what he deemed a call to action for black people after Terence Crutcher was shot and killed by police over the weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma — while unarmed and with his hands up.
Wade’s response covered more of the broader spectrum — especially after his cousin, Nykea Aldridge, was shot and killed in Chicago in August.
Her murder — while horrifically tragic — has nothing to do with Crutcher getting shot down in the street — only because he broke down while black.
This issue is about police once again reacting as race soldiers while in the line of duty, and something beyond the normal Instagram post needs to be said and done.
