The Florida State Seminoles are one of college football’s most storied programs, and also know a thing or two about off the field issues.
Even two-years after the Jameis Winston saga — head coach Jimbo Fisher still felt his players weren’t getting the message, so he brought someone that could really hammer home the point.
Ray Rice knows all too well the pitfalls of making one bad choice, and he shared his story with the Seminoles at the request of Jimbo Fisher.
“I’m not playing football, not because I’m not good enough, but because I made the biggest mistake.”
I have no doubt that Rice has found his new calling, and every AD or big time coach in America should have him lecture their kids.
Florida State opens its 2016 season on Monday, Sept. 5 against Ole Miss.
